Resolution

On December 31, I thought about resolving to be even lazier in 2007 than I was in 2006, but I never got around to it.

I was wondering how you were doing… almost gave you a call, but the phone was all the way on the other side of the room.

    Trumped! Good job!

Actually, I can see you’ve been busy keeping the newsrack stocked. I’ve begun reading the memoir of Yeltsin’s former bodyguard, Alexander Korzhakov. Maybe some of it will work its way into the basement. He had some dealings with Berezovsky, and according to an interview, knew a bit about Litvinenko (and didn’t think much of him). He thinks Berezovsky had Litvinenko killed and that Politkovskaya’s murder has Berezovsky’s fingerprints on it as well. But the memoir mostly has to do with Yeltsin and those surrounding him. It doesn’t appear to have been published in translation yet. Maybe it’s too hot to handle, or maybe it’s just a bunch of garbage …
